A community, by the community.

The Foothills Community Collective is a Conifer, Colorado nonprofit organization dedicated to a single proposition: that connection is the foundation of community. For 14+ years we've been knitting that connection into something tangible — events, programs, partnerships — between the small businesses, artisans, and neighbors who make this slice of the foothills home.

We started with one event: a summer street faire on Sutton Road called the Elevation Celebration. It's grown into Conifer's signature summer weekend — two days of music, artisans, food, family activities, and a 5K and 10K trail run that attracts both mountain residents and visitors looking for an authentic foothills experience. Every year, it's free. Every year, it's produced by volunteers, local sponsors, and the unreasonable goodwill of this town.

The Collective itself runs lean. We're a Conifer-area nonprofit with 501(c)(3) status pending with the IRS. Once approved, contributions made during the pending period may be tax-deductible retroactive to our filing date — consult your tax advisor. We have no paid staff, no office, no overhead beyond a PO Box. Everything that comes in goes back into programming.
